Emotional Bondage 2!

Hello Y’all. Hope y’all are doing well! So, from my previous write-up, I talked about two individuals who were in a relationship and how one was affected emotionally. Let’s continue then!

From the onset, you realize that Kobbey was kept in that circle and was finding it difficult to come out of it because he allowed his emotional thoughts to dictate to him and could not free himself from that bondage. Most of us are so aggressively bonded by our emotions and find it difficult to come out if it. We are humans, and definitely have emotions that we find it difficult to control.

But the question is, why should you be a slave to your emotional thought? To be a slave to your emotional thoughts means that you don’t have that capacity or strength to be willing to come out of that bondage which has entangled you to the extent that you struggle to come out of it. I will say that what causes people to have serious emotional thought can be due to breakups in love relationships or a divorce, abusive marriages, pain, anger, hatred, jealousy, envy, sadness, inferiority complex, etc. My lovely people, you shouldn’t allow all these thoughts to take control over you. If you know who you are and what you are worth, you will not allow your emotions to take control over you and prevent you from achieving your purpose in life. I know that as humans, we all have feelings and it’s very difficult for us to control our feelings, but we shouldn’t allow our feelings to win or keep us in that circle of being totally bonded emotionally.

So many people have done things to hurt me, humiliate and even to weaken my spirit. At a point in time, I became emotionally attached to my thoughts and I found it very difficult to come out of it. It wasn’t easy for me but eventually I came up with a solution to free myself from that emotional bondage.

Before I end, I would encourage y’all to ponder over all that I have said and try to put it into practice. Don’t allow your emotions to lead you to become the worse version of yourself. Remember that emotions are part of your mental health, so you need to be mindful of how to control your thoughts without it affecting your mental health. I will talk about how I freed myself from emotional bondage in my next write-up.

Stay tuned for more! Kindly like and comment on this amazing write-up and let’s get interactive. Adios(Bye)😉😊🥰

  1. I just read part one before read this post. You have written an excellent piece on emotional bondage, and it’s so important that we understand our emotions. It is these emotions that make us human beings and I want to thank you for sharing such encouraging pieces. Be blessed!
