Anxiety Series!

Don’t Entertain Anxiety (1)

When I look back as to how God has brought me this far,I just marvel. At times I think about so many unnecessary things which will not benefit me at all. As humans there are so many things that we worry and think about, be it, shelter, food, clothen, money, our education, our businesses and so on and so forth.

It’s funny how we think of such things but still God answers us. Many people have anxiety because they are not satisfied with what they have.

Anxiety is a mental disorder which can affect the human brain to the extent that it will take control of you. As children of God, we shouldn’t allow anxiety to take hold of us. If we allow it to take control, we cannot be in charge of ourselves, whether psychologically, emotionally or spiritually.

I remember when I finished junior high school in 2015. I was waiting for my school placement to come but it didn’t come as at the time I was expecting it,so I became so furious, worried and depressed with the thought of committing suicide.

I didn’t know that all the delays in my school placement was preparing me for my breakthrough. To cut things short I will talk about my other life experiences in my next write-up on anxiety.

I will say anxiety is a dangerous tool which can inject fear and panic through your spirit and soul!

Therefore, we should not entertain anxiety to have its own way in our lives.

THINK ABOUT THIS!

Biblical Reference : Matthew 6:25-34

Hope you enjoyed my write-up.

    1. Awww dear. Indeed God has elevated and given you peace. Despite what you went through I believe it has toughen you to move on in life and has helped your mental health too. I believe that now you are not anxious about anything or afraid since you have gone through the experience. God has got you but prepare for more experiences 😊😊

  3. Sometimes , I actually think one of my friends has depression…always talking about being alone and no one liking her and all. Any word of advice for me to give to her?

    1. Aww, dear. Tell your friend that she should be bold and come out of that shell and be strong to face anything that comes in her way. She should love herself and she should see herself to be a powerful woman who can bring change to the world. I believe she is going to be great and she shouldn’t think that she is alone because God is with her. She should not compare herself to other people because everyone’s purpose is different and God has a great purpose for her life. She should not allow depression to take control of her. Instead, she should voice out all her problems to a counsellor or her parents and I believe they can help her come of her depression that she is going through. Tell her to not think too much. I think she thinks too much to the extent that it is destroying her mental health and affecting her thought. And these thoughts are giving her wrong signals. Tell her to think of positive things that will benefit her life and she should leave everything to God. Her life will be transformed!
