Hello My Lovely People! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I’m going to talk to you about FEAR. Let’s use an eagle as an illustration to chip in and associate it with overcoming fear.
Eagles exist as one of the bravest and fastest birds in the world. They are not afraid to approach their prey whenever they focus their eyes on them. Fear is a powerful weapon which can take control over your whole being and destroy you. I quite remember when my family was ransacked by burglars in our house at 12 midnight. They succeeded in taking my mom’s phone and just when they were attempting to take mine, suddenly the Holy Spirit woke me up. I immediately saw the burglar opening my room window and was about to take my phone, but I quickly grabbed my phone which was then on charge.
Gripped with fear I dashed to my mom’s room and woke her up. We then called the police to come and see if they can arrest the burglars. To cut things short, after that night’s incident fear took hold of me to the extent that I couldn’t sleep in my room again for days. LOL! I was battling with fear for some couple of days till the Holy Spirit dropped into my spirit to read 2 Timothy 1:7. I must say, it enabled me to overcome my fear because I kept declaring it each and every day. I was also aided and encouraged by my loved ones to think about constructive things which benefited me to move on to the subsequent level of my life.
As humans, we go through various persecutions and fear is one! Once it gets to you, certain things in your life begin to shift. Fear is a mental malady which can make you lose hope and prevent you from achieving your purposes. Most people are gripped with fear to the extent that it makes them traumatized and coax them with thoughts of committing suicide. I must say I’m also a victim.
However, I believe that once I have God why should I be afraid. There are so many things going on in this world which can halt you if you are not focused. Just like the eagle focuses it’s attention on it’s prey to avoid distractions, we must also focus our mind on God and positive things in order to avoid distractions(fear) from piercing into our Spirit. Many people are grieving and they desperately need remedy. Is high time for us to set a standard and go into the world to encourage others to have a healthy positive mindset by supporting them to achieve their expectations in life without fear!
